On 22 and 23 June Sloten partner from the Philippines, Northwest Basic Commodities Corp., organized two special seminars for the launch of Nuklospray Yoghurt around and in Manila. Although tropical storm “Falcon” was hindering the country, many visitors came anyway.
Fruitful interaction
Despite the fact that farms have 20-22 piglets / sow / year in the Philippines they still see the benefits of Nuklospray Yoghurt, because milk production of the sow is the limiting factor. Product Manager André Damveld was invited to present this new way of feeding and the product results in practice. In both seminars the audience had many questions, which resulted in a fruitful interaction.

Higher weaning weights with Nuklospray Yoghurt
A trial in the Philippines showed higher weaning weights of almost 800 grams. Foster sows are not used here, but segregated weaning is. By supplying Nuklospray Yoghurt this actually would be unnecessary.
Exciting seminar atmosphere
Participants of the seminar received a nice polo shirt with Nuklospray Yoghurt printed on it, when they arrived. Also there was a chance of winning an iPad2. At the end of the seminar this handy mobile device was presented to the winner of a kind of lottery.
This really created an exciting atmosphere.
We can look back at an interesting, well-organized and entertaining seminar.
